We're recruiting for a new Head of New Business to play an integral role in growing our portfolio of national corporate partnerships which will help us deliver more funds for life saving, life changing research.
About the role
Leading the New Business team you'll win partnerships in line with our strategy which focuses on strategic, sponsorship, cause related marketing, charity of the year and probono opportunities as well as cause related marketing campaigns.
We have built a reputation for delivering sector leading partnerships with some of the most recognisable brands in the world. You will be central to the delivery of our ambition to increase our existing portfolio of partners and significantly grow income in order to fund more research.
You'll be highly motivated, possess the ability to think creatively and commercially, and have the skills to lead an ambitious and demanding team. You'll have excellent knowledge and understanding of Corporate Partnerships, Corporate Social Responsibility and/or the commercial sector.
Adept in Microsoft Office and proficient in the use of databases (preferably fundraising databases) you will have a track record of successfully developing new business generation in the voluntary, public or commercial sector, as well as previous experience of negotiating high value commercial agreements.
With excellent organisational skills matched by strong communication skills you will be able to network with internal and external stakeholders of a senior level and be a credible ambassador for the British Heart Foundation.
