We have an exciting opportunity for a Legacy Product Development Manager to join our ambitious Legacy Marketing Team for a 14 month FTC.
This is a very exciting time for legacies and legacy marketing at British Heart Foundation. With a brand new strategy we have ambitious growth targets to help transform legacy marketing at BHF. Our aim is to significantly increase the prominence of legacies both internally and externally in order to grow and protect this very important income stream which will account for 50% of our total income.
About the role
You'll be responsible for delivering our in-house free will scheme, creating and managing our solicitor engagement programme. You'll also scope out opportunities for new legacy products, provide recommendations to meet these and develop the new products.
We're looking for a relationship manager and influencer with a strong track record of stakeholder engagement to take new initiatives to market.
Working closely with the data team, insights team and external agencies you'll build up a detailed picture of BHF supporters, that will help refine the free wills programme and campaign engagement strategies.

You'll develop and manage the Legacy Products budget as well as playing a lead role in the annual planning process of the Legacy Marketing strategy.
About you

With demonstrable leadership and influencing skills you'll effectively promote legacies across BHF.
You'll have excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationships both internally and externally.
To be successful in the role you'll have the following skills and experience:
* Extensive and demonstrable relationship management experience
* Line Management experience
* Strong interpersonal skills
* A self-starter, who motivates themselves and those around them
* Experience of working with expenditure budgets
* Knowledge of the will making process would be beneficial but not essential
