Job description

The Senior Operations Executive is a key role within the team, implementing efficiencies by creating and driving professional workflows, scheduling and prioritisation processes across multiple functions.

You’ll act as the gate keeper assessing incoming briefs and queries, establishing initial requirements and gaps, as well as the elements of the team needed for delivery. Aware of agreed priorities through directorate roadmaps, as well as product roadmaps, you'll act as the point of coordination across other teams.

With a focus on continuous improvement, you’ll be optimising the team’s work management processes and developing our integration and collaboration with wider business planning and prioritisation functions.

Whilst this role will be based at our head office in London. The BHF will be following a blended approach between home and office working. This will allow us to unlock our best work for our cause, blending the best of home and office working.

Please note this is a 9-month fixed term contract.

About you

With previous project management experience, you’ll be knowledgeable in resource management, prioritisation, and planning for end-to-end product delivery. Using your knowledge of analytics tools, you’ll make evidence-based decision to implement continuous improvements to workflows.

You’ll have previous experience working within a digital and technical environment and have working knowledge of CX, UX and web content principles, processes, and capabilities. With experience working within a change environment, you’ll be able to implement continuous improvements to workflows through process mapping and other techniques.

You’ll be highly organised with excellent communication skills and the ability to manage a variety of stakeholders, including senior management. With demonstrable communication and negotiating skills you’ll be able to effectively convey complex, technical concepts to a non-technical audience.

A strong analytical thinker with a can-do attitude, you’ll produce clear & incisive reports from a variety of analysis tools (including Google Analytics). 

To be successful in this role you’ll will be/have:  

  • Outstanding planning and prioritising skills and able to work at pace
  • A strong influencer and negotiator, especially when gaining buy-in across the organisation
  • Good analytical and numerical skills with the ability to report on datasets and make informed decisions and suggestions
  • Strong sense of ownership and can-do attitude creating generate an atmosphere of trust, autonomy and collaborative working towards shared objectives
