Are you a payroll expert looking for a new opportunity?

We're recruiting for a new Senior Payroll Analyst to join our established payroll team.

About the role

Working with our People Services Team you'll deliver an accurate and timely payroll service for over 4,000 employees across both our Retail and Office payroll encompassing our Shops and Stores as well as Head Office and Remote workers.

You'll have the ability to work to payroll deadlines as well as being the lead on compliance requirements such as GL reports, P11d's, Annual Pay Review and Gender Pay Gap Reporting. You'll also assist with testing new system releases on Workday, being the subject matter expert for payroll for our central HR system. You'll also support the wider Payroll team with any additional training.

Quickly becoming accustomed with processing the Retail and Head Office payroll you'll be responsible for documenting our payroll procedures and seeking ways in which we can streamline our processes to make the payroll function more efficient.

About you

With extensive payroll experience, you'll have previous experience working in a fast paced environment. You'll have up-to-date knowledge of employment and payroll legislation and preferably hold a formal payroll or accountancy qualification.

You'll have significant experience of processing payroll from data input through to processing the final pay. With strong attention to detail you'll have the ability to produce data reports when required. Highly organised with excellent time management skills, you will be able to keep to deadlines.

With excellent communication skills, you'll develop strong working relationships across the organisation and will be able to explain complex information to different audiences.

You'll have excellent analytical skills matched by a strong attention to detail. You'll be comfortable in taking a hands-on approach and have a can-do attitude, being able to step into any task when required.

Ideally you'll have a formal payroll/accounting qualification i.e. part or fully CIPP/AAT/CIMA qualified and experience of Workday Payroll is a distinct advantage.
