Job description

Do you have a good understanding of donor insight and prospect research principles? Could you use strategic thinking and an ability to manage and execute long term projects that can drive change at one of the UK’s largest charities?

About the role

At an exceptionally exciting time at the BHF and in the Philanthropy team your job will be to lead and inspire a high performing team to successful prospect identification, managing with a clear strategy that focuses on sourcing prospects with the capacity to give significant donations to the BHF.

As Senior Prospect Research and Supporter Insight Manager you’ll develop innovative and data driven approaches for both prospect research and donor development to ensure the delivery of world class supporter experiences.
You’ll also lead on insight capture to ensure that the Philanthropy and Corporate Partnerships team engage, recognise and thank supporters while also demonstrating impact in the most powerful and inspiring ways possible.

Please note whilst this role will be based at our Office in London, the BHF will be following a blended approach between home and office working. This will allow us to unlock our best work for our cause, blending the best of home and office working.

This is a 12 month fixed term contract, covering family leave.

About you

With a strong understanding of donor insight and prospect research principles and ethics, wealth indicators and fundraising strategies, you’ll be motivated by high standards required to work accurately and systematically with excellent attention to detail.

You’ll also have experience of:
• Insight and data interpretation and reporting
• Staff management including mentoring, performance monitoring via KPIs and applying people policies.
• Using a fundraising CRM database for reporting, analysis and prospect management
