Facilities Service Manager
Location: Paisley
Contract type: Permanent
Hours per week: 35
Salary: circa GBP 30,000 per annum

An opportunity for a Facilities Service Manager to manage the day to day operation and delivery of a facilities management service across a UK wide British Red Cross property portfolio of circa 600 properties.

What you will be doing...

The Facilities Service Manager will work directly with colleagues and volunteers throughout the society, with responsibility for the quality and operational day to day delivery of a facilities management service.

This will include the:

  • mobilisation and transition of hard and soft facilities services

  • proactive management of our statutory facilities compliance

  • risk and customer escalation mitigation / management

  • maintenance of business as usual services, to include appropriate financial approvals

  • coordination of data / trend analysis to support the performance management and assurance of our facilities suppliers

What we are looking for...

Confident, self-motivated and preferably a member of The British Institute of Facilities Management (BIFM), you should have:

  • Experience of managing the operational delivery of a hard and soft facilities services

  • Experience of supplier management

  • Experience in business processes re-engineering and improvement

  • Confident and clear verbal and written communication and presentation skills

  • Strong organisation skills and self-motivated, with ability to deal with changing demands
