Organisation Development Manager

Location: Birmingham / Leicester

Contract type: Permanent

Hours per week: 35

Salary: up to £42,000 per annum


A fantastic role in the national organisation development (OD) & diversity team leading and facilitating organisation development (OD) initiatives across the British Red Cross which support organisational effectiveness and strategic & operational delivery.


What you will be doing

As Organisation Development Manager you will contribute to the organisation and culture development at the BRC through leading and managing a range of cross-organisational OD projects & programmes.


Working closely with senior leaders across the organisation you will scope, agree and implement OD initiatives using data and insight to develop proposals and engage senior stakeholders with OD solutions and programmes.


This is an opportunity to use your strong influencing skills to engage and challenge where appropriate to drive organisational change, working with Business Partners and leaders.


*whilst base location is flexible you must be able to travel regularly to our UK head office in London

What we are looking for

With knowledge and experience of OD Theory and how to apply in practice, you should have OD consultancy skills with a proven ability to engage, conduct diagnosis, analyse findings, generate options and build commitment to solutions.


You should have strong interpersonal, communication and influencing skills at all organisational levels with the ability to design and facilitate OD interventions and events; able to engage and support people to achieve desired outcomes.


You should also have experience of operating in a large, complex organisation.
