The British Red Cross has an exciting opportunity in the Planning, Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (PMEAL) Advisory team.
You will work within a team of regionally or focus area-aligned PMEAL Advisers to lead, manage, facilitate and enable BRC-supported programmes and our partner National Societies to strengthen their approaches to planning, monitoring, accountability, evaluation, and learning,as well as leading/contributing to initiatives to strengthen BRC's overall approach to quality programming.
You will be located in the Performance & Accountability(P&A) Department (UK office), reporting to the Senior PMEAL Adviser. This team also works on Community Engagement and Accountability (CEA), information management, safeguarding as well as holding the relationship with our major donor, DFID.
Overseas experience in the humanitarian or development sector is essential, as will be your considerable practical experience in programme planning, M&E and learning,particularly in a partnership context.
This role will involve international travel for up to 90 days per year and may require you to work in a physically demanding environment.
