The British Sign Language Broadcasting Trust is a young, successful charity with an ambitious agenda. Funded by commercial broadcasters, we commission television programmes made in British Sign Language and we support the companies and Deaf programme-makers who produce them.
We are now looking for a Finance Officer to join the team. For this new role you will need to be qualified at the minimum AAT level 4 or CAT and/or possess a degree in Accounting or Finance. We also require three to five years’ professional experience in a similar role, with at least one year in charity accounting. You must also have a high level of attention to detail with advanced Excel skills as well as the ability to write accurately and clearly in English. It is also important that you support the work of BSLBT: you should have an interest in Deaf culture and language and be familiar with our website and our programmes.
