Bury Hospice has a fantastic opportunity for a Community Fundraising Co-ordinator to join our passionate fundraising team.
As a Community Fundraising Co-ordinator, you will be the main fundraising facilitator and contact for existing hospice supporters such as schools and community groups across the Bury area.
Increasing engagement is a key responsibility of the role by establishing strong relationships with new fundraising associates by tapping into hard to reach sectors of society, developing supporter and volunteer groups and opening up new donor and support avenues.
You will be a relationship developer, a positive influencer, an engaging communicator and a keen driver of the Hospices’ marketing campaigns and strategies to increase income generation.
Relevant field and online fundraising experience are essential along with knowledge of charity income generation, regulation and strategy.
The role has a strong administrative function, utilising the supporter database to generate reports and for data capture.
As an ambassador for Bury Hospice flexibility will be required to attend Hospice events and cheque presentations, sometimes out of hours.
