Job description

Bury VCFA/Beacon is seeking an experienced Administrator, preferably from a health or social care environment

Key Tasks include

  • acting as a first point of contact for clients, members and partners;
  • providing general admin and clerical support to the staff team;
  • updating and maintaining databases; 
  • drafting routine correspondence;
  • handling post and emails;
  • researching and providing reports and information to the team as required.
  • assist with social-media and preparation/circulation of VCFA newsletters and e-bulletins, upon request
  • assist with maintenance of the organisational database, Simply Connect, ensuring it is accurate and up-to-date;
  • ensure that referrals to the Beacon Service are dealt with in a timely manner including co-ordinating appointments/diaries and providing follow-up contact with clients

Experience of charity/nonprofit work is an advantage but not a requirement
