Your role will be to provide administrative support across a range of business support functions, including finance, HR and IT. Line managed by the Finance and Systems Manager you will also work closely with the HR Manager.
The role will be based in our Resources, System and Culture Team and provide an efficient administration service supporting business processes and staff globally.
Location: Office based from our office in Frome, Somerset or remote working
Contract: Full-time, permanent (though we are open to considering applications from those who want to work on a part-time or job-share basis)

Key Responsibilities
Finance
- Receive invoices and enter into purchase ledger for authorisation process
- Set up bank payments to suppliers and international transfers to Country offices
- Liaise with suppliers regarding payments/details and with budget holders regarding authorisation
- Process staff cash and credit card expenses
- Maintain all supporting documents for any transactions posted onto QuickBooks
- Process donations arriving in post
- Other finance administration tasks as necessary
Human Resources Administration
- Online HR system (People HR) administration
- Using templates prepare standard HR paperwork such as contracts and salary change letters
- Monitor completion of HR processes
- Recruitment administration
- New joiner administration
- With guidance from the HR Manager making minor amendments to HR policy and process documents and ensuring they are uploaded to SharePoint
- Arranging HR related meetings and notetaking
- Training administration
- Other HR administration tasks as necessary
IT
- Help manage the SharePoint environment as a primary administrator
- Assist in the development of SharePoint and Microsoft Teams to meet the needs of the organisation, and to ensure that it is fully accessible and inclusive
- Managing permissions within SharePoint
- Manage and maintain our corporate IT licenses
- Weekly maintenance of above with emails for new joiners and leavers and distribution groups
- Manage the IT hardware needs for the RSC Team, also ensure the physical assets are recorded and reconciled

Person specification
- Significant experience of business administration.
- Experience of basic book-keeping using Quickbooks or similar finance software.
- Experience of HR or IT administration would be an advantage but not essential as training will be given.
- Proficient with using Microsoft 365 including SharePoint (or transferable skills in similar packages).
- Ability to multitask and prioritise across a wide-ranging role
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English

We are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced, and creative Philanthropy Writer to join our team with a focus on the development of relationships with high-net-worth individuals, a wide variety of trusts/foundations and corporate supporters. In this role you will make a key contribution in producing engaging written communications to grow both restricted and unrestricted income.
You will produce impactful and effective publicity materials and brochures. Using MAF’s tools, databases and platforms, including PowerBI, Bynder (media library) you will illustrate written reports with compelling visual support. In addition you will have a key role in researching and writing funding proposals/applications for individuals, trusts and foundations as well as liaising regularly with Relationship Managers to produce tailored reports and communications for individual donors and prospects. There will also be the opportunity for you to participate in a wide range of events to help cultivate new donors.
You will need to be educated to degree level with a focus on English communications/marketing. Recent experience of researching complex issues and financial information to produce compelling written reports is essential, as is multi-tasking, managing deadlines and maintaining attention to detail.
While this role is base at the MAF UK Offices in Folkestone, Kent, we are open to potential hybrid working in line with our flexible working policy, the needs of the business, the requirements of the role and your location. This will be discussed at interview.
Our working hours are at least 36 hours per week, with 1 hour for lunch daily unpaid. Hours should be agreed with line manager.

The Senior Programme Officer for Schools2030 will lead on resource mobilisation for the Schools2030 programme as well as allocation of funding across the programme countries and workstreams. The Senior Programme Officer will coordinate closely with the Schools2030 Partnership and Finance teams and will manage the smooth functioning with the rest of the Schools2030 Global Secretariat. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND CORE TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES
Resource Mobilisation:
- Lead on resource mobilisation and the development of new proposals for the Schools2030 programme to develop narrative content for proposals and proposal budgets. This should all be done in close coordination with the Global Partnerships team, other members of the Global Secretariat, country teams, and finance teams.
- Lead on scoping new funding opportunities for Schools2030, working closely with the Global Partnerships team, and identify and evaluate strategic growth opportunities for the programme
Coordination:
- Manage the smooth functioning of the Schools2030 Partnerships and Finance teams including through leading weekly progress meetings, monitoring deliverables and setting team priorities on a weekly and monthly basis, in coordination with the broader Schools2030 Secretariat.
- Develop annual funding plans (including aligning donor grants to programme workstreams, identifying areas for fundraising) with Global Programme Manager, Finance, Partnerships and Country Units
- Coordinate external technical partnerships, including developing TORs for external technical partners and tracking achievement of deliverables.

Donor Reporting
- Support the Schools2030 Partnership Officer on development of external reports and ensuring alignment with financial reports developed by Schools2030 Finance Officers
- Present Schools2030 programme and financial progress at Biannual Donor Meetings (March and October each year), with support of Partnership and Finance Team

People & Culture Generalist
The People & Culture Generalist – Internews Europe will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day administrative tasks of the People & Culture (P&C) department. The role will support the People & Culture Manager – Internews Europe in ensuring efficient and best practice processes and procedures within the organisation.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following, with other duties upon request:
The P&C Generalist - Internews Europe holds primary responsibility for supporting all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including recruitment and selection, onboarding, inductions, staff progression and compliance.
· Partnering with other members of the global People & Culture team to support hiring and recruitment processes.
· Overseeing onboarding processes for UK staff members.
· Acts as the initial point of contact for all IEU staff inquiries with regards to People & Culture policies, procedures, staff benefit, leave balances, and general enquiries.
· Working with other members of the PC team, supports annual processes, such as the appraisal and goal setting processes, insurance renewals, ethics program, etc.
· Managing the shared IEU-HR inbox and resolving / following up on staff inquiries and needs.
· Providing staff and manager coaching on employee relations issues as requested.
· Working together with global P&C staff, managing the information that is published to the internal website (intranet) for IEU, making updates and organizational changes as needed.
