Main Duties:
● Proactively identify, engage and build good relationships with prospective corporate donors, successfully securing them as funding partners. Alongside this you’ll deepen engagement and grow our relationships and partnerships with existing corporate donors.
● Work with colleagues across Cambridge City Food Bank, to develop authentic, compelling, creative and winning funding and partnership proposals that can successfully engage corporate partners and align with their needs, motivations, areas of interests and values.
● Design and deliver excellent, engaging and regular stewardship communications and powerful fundraising appeals alongside establishing the associated data and systems. You will grow our income and pool of individual supporters making one off or monthly donations. You’ll also explore and implement ways of promoting Cambridge City Food Bank to successfully attract an ever-greater number of individual donors.
● Work with and support external consultants and colleagues across CCFb and the wider Trussell Trust networks to help secure fundraising partnerships and income from grant giving trusts and foundations.
● Develop, monitor and manage a fundraising portfolio capable of generating in excess of £1M per annum. You’ll establish a fundraising pipeline, including a range of KPI’s that can be tracked and that will enable you to make informed projections regarding future income.
● Forge strong relationships with colleagues across the wider Trussell Trust network, sharing best practice and learning from other charities across the network. As part of a network ‘learning set’, you’ll proactively take advantage of any fundraising training and skills development opportunities and engage with any joint fundraising opportunities.

Job Purpose

Key Responsibilities

Introduction to role
We are seeking a Venue & Buildings Manager to help provide effective stewardship and management of our wonderful and busy Grade II* listed church building and room hire business.
Inspire Saint James Clerkenwell is a Church of England church with two services (11am and 4pm) and a congregation of around 200 adults and 80 children. The congregation is vibrant and diverse and passionate about sharing the good news of Jesus.
A large proportion of the church’s income is generated by hiring out the crypt, church and accompanying spaces to external clients. Our ability to rent out these spaces supports the church’s broader mission and helps maintain the building for future generations. We are looking for someone who can take ownership of the building and the room hire business and see that the work they do supports and facilitates the ministry of the church. They will ensure that the resources we have are best utilised and that health and safety and legal obligations are fulfilled in relation to the building. This is a client facing role, where you are required to provide a professional service to all who visit the church and the variety of clients looking to use the venue as an event space.

Yeldall Manor is a Christian addiction recovery centre where we see men's lives changing on a daily basis.

Save the Children is partnering with the LEGO Foundation on an exciting new project to advocate for changes in policy, participation, and funding to improve the quality of instruction and wellbeing of teachers in refugee hosting communities in Kenya.
Your role will focus on advocacy on refugee education, including a focus on teachers and the education workforce. The role will require you to work closely with colleagues in our Kenya office, to both support advocacy at the national level, and to affect change on refugee education through global advocacy.
Our ideal candidate for this role would be someone who is a sharp strategic thinker, who understands how to make political and policy change happen across different contexts. About the role
As a Senior Policy & Advocacy Adviser you will work in the Education Team within the Global Policy, Advocacy and Research department.
Your role will focus on advocacy on school safety and risk reduction in the education sector. Specifically, you will be working closely with colleagues at Save the Children and members of GADRRRES (Global Alliance for Disaster Risk Reduction & Resilience in the Education Sector) to promote the global implementation of the Comprehensive School Safety Framework (CSSF). This is an important time for this area of work, as the revised CSSF was launched in September 2022, and as the education sector contends with the increasing risks posed by climate change, health pandemics, and conflict. This project is being delivered in partnership with Prudence Foundation, who have partnered with Save the Children to promote school safety and resilience at the national, regional and global level. Our ideal candidate for this role would be someone who is a sharp strategic thinker, who understands how to make political and policy change happen across different contexts. You will have experience of working with partners through coalition, and have strong networking and relationship building skills. Experience of working in global education, humanitarian or climate sectors is desirable but not necessary.
In this role, you will:
- Design, lead and implement complex policy and advocacy strategies and products, to a high standard and with minimal supervision
- Identify global policy and research needs and influencing opportunities in your thematic area
- Represent the organisation externally including in high-level meetings and events and with donors and other key stakeholders, building relationships with external experts, partners and coalitions
- Write advocacy briefings, reports, externally published articles and blogs, as well as assist in the drafting of press releases, Q&As and opinion pieces

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a part time Senior Bid Writer to join our Business Development team working on tender opportunities, tracking new and existing business and handling of new contracts for POhWER.
POhWER needs to increase and diversify its income to achieve greater financial sustainability. To do this we need to grow our services to reach new parts of the UK and new areas of work. Our Bid Writers coordinate the organisation’s response to all tenders. This includes re-tendering for our existing services as well as responding to tenders for services in new areas, or new services in our existing areas.
The role includes:
· Lead and co-ordinate tender activity ensuring that POhWER wins and retains new and existing services and contracts
· Take ownership of the bid response, style and format and overseeing it through the production process.

The Head of Marketing & Commercial has overall responsibility for the Trust’s marketing, room and site hire, and events. You will be responsible for:

About the role:
The purpose of the Fundraising Manager’s role is to develop the role and fundraising strategy of the organisation. You will support the CEO with creating the role, strategy, systems, and activities of income generation for the organisation. You will lead in securing funds from trusts and foundations through grant applications and develop the individual giving campaign as well as leading the growth and future development of new income streams from individuals, corporate partnerships, and other sources.
