Salary: Band B, £24k to £30k, depending on skills and experience.

Key Responsibilities:

· Identify and maximise opportunities to raise funds from companies, trusts, foundations, and other funding bodies.

· Manage a portfolio of existing and prospective partners from across companies, trusts and foundations.

·  Research and maintain an on-going, sustainable pipeline of prospects including new trusts and foundations, companies and industry sectors.

· Plan, prepare and write compelling applications for funding.

· Build effective relationships with funders in order to secure long-term funding and support. Achieve income targets that support the delivery and fundraising goals.

· Keep accurate, relevant, timely records on our CRM and maintain regular communication with relevant teams including operations, finance, marketing and fundraising teams.

· Create inspiring reports and updates for funders that bring to life the impact of their support and demonstrate first class stewardship.

· Where appropriate, attend events to meet funders and/or promote EDT.

· Work closely with relevant teams to embed monitoring and evaluation throughout the funding process. Report on progress, results and income in a timely manner.

· Work with the Fundraising Manager with analysing trends to support the fundraising strategy.

Competencies and Attributes:

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Strong organisation skills - can manage workload and deadlines and proactively work to achieve timely delivery.

· Experience of securing funding from grant makers and/or companies.

· Experience of planning, preparing and writing high quality bids, funding applications and reports.

· Knowledge of managing funders' relationships. Knowledge of databases/data management, including producing reports.

· A strong team player, who can communicate effectively and engage colleagues at all levels and develop strong and productive relationships.

· Attention to detail and IT proficiency.

· Understanding of applicable legislation.

· A knowledge of the not for profit/charity sector.

· The ability to travel to locations across the UK on occasions to meet colleagues, funders and partners.

We are looking for a Partner Engagement Manager to promote and develop the work of Family Fund, and contribute to our profile within the disability sector in Wales.

As Partner Engagement Manager you will promote and develop the work of Family Fund in its reach to families. You’ll also contribute to its profile within the disability sector in Wales and with key Government/political stakeholders.

You will proactively work with a wide range of public, private and third sector organisations. Your goal will be to ensure Family Fund’s strategy is understood, and that mutually beneficial relationships are formed. In addition, you will seek out opportunities which allow Family Fund to achieve its key priorities, deliver added value for funders, and secure positive outcomes for our beneficiaries.

You will be acknowledged as a senior Family Fund representative across the disability sector, deputising for the Group CEO, or Directors on committees and at events as required.

Finally, you will build effective partnerships and proactively develop activities with key organisations across public, private and third sectors.

The Role

As FareShare continues to build broad and successful partnerships with key food suppliers across the UK, the Impact Reporting Officer will play a vital role in managing data and effectively demonstrating our impact to the food industry. This position is central to achieving our mission of saving usable surplus food and feeding communities.

This role is a reporting and systems lead, providing administrative and analytical support to the Food Team with a primary focus on consolidating and managing food volume data. Demonstrating to companies the difference their food makes  in an informative and engaging way is a key driver of continued support and motivation for the food industry. We seek a fast learner who can engage across various internal systems, including FareShare’s national WMS, Power BI, and our CRM Salesforce.

Working closely with the Food Team, the role will extract and manipulate data from our systems, presenting it meaningfully in reports and updates for our key food partners. Additionally, this role will collaborate with FareShare’s in-house technology department (The Info Centre) to champion and support the maintenance and accuracy of systems used within the Food Team, ensuring account records are up-to-date, and live reporting is both accurate and beneficial to account managers while adhering to GDPR policies.

This role will champion the further embedded usage of our CRM system (Salesforce) to better manage multifaceted relationships with our partners across the food industry. Having a clear and aligned view of the relationships across the industry is central to our ability to achieve our ambitions in partnership excellence. This role will both support the teams in keeping the CRM accurate and work with the Info Centre in suggesting and implementing builds and developments to the CRM that enhance our ability to successfully track and monitor key relationships.

Alongside the ownership of our impact data, this role will also contribute to cross-departmental data analytics projects and support the Marketing team to gather qualitative impact stories. Across both qualitative and quantitative impact data, this role will look to translate all of this into meaningful insights for companies that highlight FareShare’s work and ultimately help to deliver more food for those that need it.

Main areas of responsibility

Impact Reporting

• Design, build and implement impact reporting activities across the Food Team, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and alignment with key partner joint partnership plans
• Develop and implement best practices for impact reporting to effectively communicate the difference made by partners’ food .
• Support the gathering of qualitative impact stories, working collaboratively with charity partners and individuals to compile compelling narratives.
• Bridge the gap between qualitative and quantitative impact data, translating both into meaningful insights that resonate with key stakeholders.
• Develop content that effectively communicates the broader impact of our initiatives to both corporate and charity partners.

Data Analysis and Insights

• Provide comprehensive reports and analyses on food partner volumes, aiding Commercial Manager presentations and reports to food partners, including Tesco reporting requests.
• Utilise analytical skills to extract meaningful insights from various internal systems, contributing to informed decision-making and strategy formulation (including where possible providing data to marketing team and to support commercial decisions across the procurement team).
• Collaborate with Commercial Managers to support data gathering for monthly reporting and quarterly/annual forecasting and targeting.
• Contribute to cross-departmental projects and discussions as the Food Team data lead

CRM System Enhancement

• Champion the embedded usage of the CRM system (Salesforce) to enhance relationship management with partners in the food industry.
• Collaborate with the Info Centre to suggest and implement CRM builds and developments that improve tracking, monitoring, and reporting capabilities.
• Provide hands-on support to the Food Team in improving the effective use of Salesforce, ensuring all team members are proficient in utilising its features.
• Work collaboratively to identify opportunities for CRM optimisation and efficiency gains in managing partner relationships.
• Support in the ongoing assessment of the Partnership Excellence pillar using our CRM

Food Data Accuracy

• Support the maintenance and accuracy of our food volume data across visualisation tools like Power BI, including full ownership of the food team Power BI report.
• Collaborate with the Info Centre to streamline processes related to live reporting, ensuring accuracy and relevance for account managers.

Troubleshooting, System Support and Training

• Work closely with the Food Team to understand how systems, including CRM and Power BI, are utilised for decision-making, strategic planning, and day-to-day operations.
• Offer troubleshooting support, identifying and resolving issues related to system usage and data management.
• Support in the delivery of training on existing systems with the ambition of building a stronger data culture across the Food Team and wider organisation

About the role

Are you an experienced corporate fundraiser with an interest in working in the international development sector? Are you creative, strategic, highly organised, a confident and effective communicator and strong team player? 

We are looking for an experienced Senior Corporate Fundraising Manager to work closely with the Head of Programme Funding to drive new donor engagement and secure sustainable, multi-year funding. If you are seeking a dynamic and engaging fundraising role which offers you the chance to play a pivotal role within a small but ambitious organisation, then this could be the job for you.

You will be an exemplary relationship builder and have experience in developing multi-faceted corporate partnerships (ideally with experience and success in employee engagement, corporate sponsorship, and/or operational partnerships).

The role also line manages the Senior Fundraising Officer post, a position that provides administrative and fundraising support across the whole fundraising team.  Please note that we are a small team and so you’ll need to be comfortable rolling up your sleeves to help out team members and to support new business across other restricted income streams.

Doorstep Library is a community-focused literacy charity dedicated to bringing the magic of books and the joy of reading directly into the homes of children who need our support. We are looking for an experienced fundraiser to head up our fundraising and marketing teams.

With one in four 11-year-olds leaving primary school unable to read or write properly, we recruit and train home and online reading volunteers to go into disadvantaged areas of London to help introduce young children (aged 0-11 years) to the pleasure and benefits of reading.

Our unique home-based service, whether in person or online, enables us to find the most appropriate books for every child we visit and build a relationship with the whole family. Our goal is to help children develop the self-confidence and essential skills they need to access all the opportunities that will come their way in life.

JOB PURPOSE

· Strategic responsibility for fundraising, including partnership development and maintaining the charity’s strong relationships with our wide range of funding partners;

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Head of Fundraising to report to the Chief Executive Officer. The successful candidate will sit on the Senior Management Team, working closely with the CEO, Head of Operations and Head of Delivery and Engagement.

You will have substantial, proven experience of working in fundraising and of developing and sustaining partnerships, ideally in the third sector, and of how to build financial sustainability. You will be a highly organised people-person and will be responsible for line managing two Fundraising and Marketing Officers.

You will bring excellent communication skills and the ability to inspire others about our work.  With outstanding interpersonal skills, you will have the ability to forge new relationships and you will thrive on enhancing our current partnerships and identifying and creating new ones. 

Finally, you will be truly passionate about the work that we do to support children and families in disadvantaged areas of London and be driven to share our work with as many people as possible.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

Development and delivery of the charity’s fundraising strategy

· To work closely with the CEO and trustee board to lead on the development, planning and delivery the Doorstep Library’s fundraising strategy, with further development of a longer-term strategy;

· To manage and build upon the income streams for the charity;

· To take a lead on application bids, including managing, monitoring and evaluating all funding applications;

· To work closely with the SMT and actively contribute to the overall strategy and direction of the charity;

Grow, develop and sustain our partnerships and income streams

· To lead, deliver and grow our existing relationships with all of our funding partners; foundations, corporates, independent schools and individual donors to raise circa £850K pa;

· To identify new potential partners, working closely with the CEO and board of trustees to develop these partnerships;

· To establish a corporate supporters programme and individual giving campaigns, plus develop effective stewardship systems;
