Business Support Assistant
Salary - £20,000pa
Fixed term contract: initially for 12 months 

We are looking for a confident and resourceful individual to provide administrative and business support to the Chief Executive, liaise with staff and external contacts, and assist in business development, marketing, projects and contract monitoring.

The successful applicant will have relevant experience in a similar role and strong administrative, IT and organisational skills.  You’ll have excellent people and communication skills and the ability to manage several pieces of work or projects at the same time.  You will take a proactive approach to a broad and varied workload, and be comfortable working independently and also in a busy small team environment.

This full time post is based in our main office, near Five Ways in Birmingham, though some flexibility will be required to work occasional evenings, including attending evening Board meetings and to travel to other locations. 

Relate Birmingham is an independent charity and a member of the national Relate Federation.  We work to help individuals, parents and families in the West Midlands and South Staffordshire to build better relationships by delivering a range of services, including counselling, groups, mediation, education and training and professional development.
