Get immediate income - and lend a helping hand

If you need extra income during this difficult time, then why not lend a hand to the most vulnerable people? We’re seeking suitable staff cover to work at our Care Homes to look after people of 65 and over, some of whom have dementia. It’s a challenging time for our care home residents, and if you’re available now/soon then you can get paid to make a big difference!

The offer

Our Care Assistant salary is £17,750 per annum for 37 hours, including paid breaks. Shifts last for 12 hours and 20 minutes three days per week, and additional shifts are available. We can be flexible to accommodate other lengths of shift, for example covering our busiest times.

Who we are

C&C is a forward-thinking and innovative charitable provider of housing, care, and bespoke services exclusively for older people in London. We have 90 years’ experience of retirement home design and living in London. We are very proud of the ‘family’ feel of our homes and our innovative strategies for supporting residents.

Your role as a Care Assistant

You will help to deliver a high-quality service to residents at one or more of our care homes in Teddington, Kew and Swiss Cottage. You will support residents with their physical care and personal hygiene needs, ensuring that their independence, privacy and dignity are preserved and developed wherever possible.

About you

You will need:

Good communication skills
Basic literacy and numeracy skills
To be compassionate and patient
Ideally some experience in a caring industry, for example hospitality or schools
To pass our DBS check

Even better if you have previous experience of a care environment, providing personal care or knowledge of dementia.

To apply, please send us your current CV, applying to either of our four friendly Care Homes that you would like to work at.
