It’s an exciting time for CAG Oxfordshire as the network celebrates its 20th birthday, reaches almost 100 member groups, and is working to take community-led climate action to the next level in Oxfordshire.
As we plan more ambitious work to support community-led change in Oxfordshire, we’re looking for someone to lead the next stage of our development. We have doubled in size in under two years of operation as an independent co-operative, owned and steered by our member groups.

The session will be co-hosted by the current Lead Coordinator (Director equivalent) and another member of our team. If you can’t join the session don’t worry, we’ll write up the questions and any answers we give and share them as a blog post on our website as well.
About the Director Role
The new Director will lead and coordinate our work. This includes managing our staff team in a way that keeps us developing more effective self-management practices over time. A key part of the role is ensuring we improve and deliver on our strategy and plans, drawing on the strengths and input of people across the organisation and our wider network. The Director will also develop new partnerships and income streams to grow our work; meeting the needs we can already see around us, and taking opportunities as they arise.
We are looking for someone who can work between three and five days a week.The role will be scaled appropriately according to the hours agreed with the new Director - there are more details on this in the recruitment pack.
