Healthy Minds seeks a suitably experienced Business Development Manager to put strategy into action as we recover from the impact of the pandemic and shape our future.
Healthy Minds is a well-established, mature organisation with a strong presence in Calderdale’s mental health system. As part of the community mental health transformation programme, we are in a period of change and growth, bringing new opportunities and challenges.
The Business Development Manager is a new post in Healthy Minds to increase capacity at this important stage in the organisation’s journey.
The right person for this role will have a thorough understanding of the voluntary sector and a solid track record of service development. They will have extensive experience of shaping successful funding bids and maintaining relationships with funders and commissioners.
A strategic and creative mindset is essential, looking ahead and adapting to local, regional and national developments that bear on Healthy Minds’ work. This role is about strengthening our role as a key provider in the mental health system now and securing its position into the future, anchored to the core values that make Healthy Minds what it is.
This will be a broad and varied role encompassing organisational management, strategic development and public-facing community engagement. The successful candidate will lead on such actions as revitalising Healthy Minds membership, improving inclusion and diversity, and income diversification; they will work closely with colleagues, including volunteers and the management committee, and with local communities, to ensure that we continue to deliver on our mission to improve the emotional health and wellbeing of Calderdale.
