Could you be our new Chair?
Chair of Board of Trustees
Camden Disability Action (CDA) is looking for a new Chair to build and lead a skilled Trustee board.
CDA is a Disabled People’s Organisation, which means it is run by Disabled people for Disabled people. This is an important time for the organisation and it needs a strong chair to lead it into the next phase of its development and growth.
We are looking for a local Disabled person who has the skills and enthusiasm to provide strategic leadership for the organisation and to support making Greenwood a centre for social change.
The position of Chair of Trustees is unpaid. Board members are expected to attend 4 meetings a year. Induction into the organisation, safeguarding training and reimbursed travel costs are available for all the Trustees.
A package of upskilling and mentoring is planned for the new Chair and the Board of Trustees funded by the National Lottery.
Please visit the Camden Disability Action website for application instructions and for a BSL video of the advertisement.
Deadline June 30th 2020
Once applications have been reviewed an informal interview with the CEO, Trustees and a CDA service user panel, and if successful, a recommendation to join the board.
The client requests no contact from agencies or media sales.
