Campaign for National Parks is the only independent voice for National Parks in England and Wales. It’s our job to fight for the National Parks, for the wildlife and the people who call them home on behalf of everyone across the nation, for whom our National Parks were created. We believe that thriving National Parks are fundamental to nature recovery, tackling the climate emergency and helping the nation through this health crisis, by ensuring access for all, no matter their race, class or background.

About the role:
The purpose of this role is to lead delivery of our campaigns to help secure policy changes for thriving National Parks, raise our profile and grow our digital supporter base. The Senior Campaigns Officer will be critical in developing influential relationships with parliamentarians, partners and stakeholders and development and delivery of our campaign and advocacy strategy.
We are looking for someone who can support a programme of engagement with politicians in Westminster and in the Senedd.

- Campaigning creativity - ability to create strong parliamentary and public facing campaigns that seek to influence policy
- Communication - excellent verbal, written and digital skills
- Political engagement– knowledge and understanding of public affairs
- Passion for National Parks

Work/life balance is really important to us. We are open to exploring how this role could work for you, including whether you want full time (35 hours per week) or part time.
We offer enhanced holiday allowance (25 days year with an additional day per year of service up to 30, plus bank holidays, all pro rata if working part time), enhanced employer pension contributions (5%) and enhanced sick pay.
We operate a ‘hybrid’ working arrangement and staff can be based from home or from our London office, based in SE1 near London Bridge and Borough stations, and work from both.
