The Pituitary Foundation is the UK’s leading charity providing support and information for people living with pituitary conditions, their families, friends and carers. We are based in an office in central Bristol, with some staff and volunteers working remotely throughout the UK. Pituitary conditions are uncommon, usually lifelong and can be life threatening. Conditions include acromegaly, Cushing's, prolactinoma, AVP-Deficiency and hypopituitarism.

It is an exciting time to join The Foundation. We are celebrating our 30th anniversary throughout 2024 and are working towards our ambitious strategy which we are excited to achieve. Our new website, and CRM, combined with robust processes and procedures offers a strong foundation, for a new CEO to build on.

About the Role

This role will combine the ambition of The Foundation without losing the core importance of being a person-centred patient support group, offering kindness and support at challenging times.  You will bring excellent interpersonal skills, as well as financial acumen and an appetite for seeing the best possible service delivered to a wide demographic.

Location: Based in the Bristol office, with flexibility for hybrid working

Salary: £55,000 - £60,000

Reports to: Chair and Board of Trustees

Holiday: 30 days plus statutory bank holidays

Responsible for corporate hospitality, the Administrator will provide excellent in-person customer care for visitors to the organisation’s central London Hub and act a first point of contact via the organisation’s in-bound telephone hunt groups.

Do you wish to be part of a growing and dynamic Fundraising team and support our Farming community? RABI, the leading UK farming charity, are seeking a fundraiser with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in generating income from trusts and foundations.

You must be a great communicator with experience in prospect research, writing funding proposals and developing relationships with trust representatives. This is an exciting time to join RABI as we develop a strategy aimed at raising seven-figure sums in 3-4 years to support the farming community.

As part of a growing and dynamic Fundraising team, your main duties will be to research trust and foundations, create and send applications and steward relationship with current and future charitable trusts. As part of the team, you will also be involved in generating funds across various other income streams.

Key responsibilities:

• Research and identify charitable trusts which may provide future financial support to RABI whilst maximising the potential for giving from trusts with which the Charity already has a relationship.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key trust representatives.
• Prepare, submit and monitor applications to charitable trusts including the maintenance of records of applications, grant receipts and successful/failed submissions. Ensure Trusts are thanked for donations in timely fashion.
• Updating the CRM system to ensure activities, communications, donations and other important details are accurately recorded and maintained.
• Compile statistical and background research to support the development of new and existing relationships with Charitable trusts.
• Monitor trust income for finance purposes, ensuring all donations or grants are coded appropriately, including any restrictions upon the use of the income.
• Creating monthly reports on trust income received.
• Support regular and individual giving, corporate, legacy and other income streams.
• Provide general administrative and wider Fundraising team support. 

Person Specification:

Essential

• A minimum of three years’ experience of successful trust fundraising.
• A good understanding of fundraising disciplines. 
• A pro-active team player who is also self-motivated and confident working independently.
• A good communicator, whether face to face, by telephone, virtual calls or in writing.

Are you an experienced corporate fundraiser with an interest in working in the international development sector? Are you creative, strategic, highly organised, a confident and effective communicator and strong team player? 

We are looking for an experienced Senior Corporate Fundraising Manager to work closely with the Head of Programme Funding to drive new donor engagement and secure sustainable, multi-year funding. If you are seeking a dynamic and engaging fundraising role which offers you the chance to play a pivotal role within a small but ambitious organisation, then this could be the job for you.

You will be an exemplary relationship builder and have experience in developing multi-faceted corporate partnerships (ideally with experience and success in employee engagement, corporate sponsorship, and/or operational partnerships).

The role also line manages the Senior Fundraising Officer post, a position that provides administrative and fundraising support across the whole fundraising team.  Please note that we are a small team and so you’ll need to be comfortable rolling up your sleeves to help out team members and to support new business across other restricted income streams. 

If you think you have the skills, qualities and drive to fulfil this role, but don’t meet all of the specifications, or perhaps you’ve gained your experience in (for example) commercial sales or within relationships management and are looking to move into development work, we would still welcome hearing from you. We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individuals to join our fundraising team as a Trusts and Foundations Fundraising Officer. In this role, you will play a vital role in researching and applying to grant applications in order to help the team raise as much funding as possible to support people experiencing homelessness across London.

About the role:

As the Trusts and Foundations Fundraising Officer, you will be responsible for maximising income from Trusts and Foundations in order to support SHP’s charitable activities. Working closely with the Head of Fundraising and alongside the fundraising team, you will contribute towards the delivery of achieving SHP's overarching vision of a society where everyone has a place to call home and the chance to live a fulfilling life.

In your role, you will be responsible for building and delivering a successful Trusts and Foundations portfolio by focusing on:

• Maximising income from grant-giving organisations to ensure sustainable growth of restricted and unrestricted fundraising.
• Working strategically to build high-impact, high-value relationships with grant funders as well as managing relationships with existing donors.
• Collaborating with teams across the organisation to create compelling fundraising proposals and produce high-quality reports and budgets.

Colostomy UK is a national charity that offers support and advice to people who have had stoma surgery (ostomates) and those who care about them. We help ostomates to return to sports, hobbies and other activities after surgery, and give them the confidence to return to a full life and take on fresh challenges. Our campaigns raise awareness of life with a stoma and encourage organisations to make their facilities more inclusive.

About the role:

As the Fundraising Executive you will work to grow income through developing our community engagement, attracting, building and managing relationships with a range of supporters (individual donors and fundraisers, community groups, local businesses, volunteers etc). You will lead on the stewardship of events and challenges, including our annual Step Up campaign, by supporting individuals and groups to raise funds through fundraising activities. The post-holder will also support the recording of donations, send appropriate acknowledgements, review fundraising materials, and prepare fundraising content for social media, our website and our quarterly magazine, Tidings. The right candidate will be in a prime position for career progression as we grow our small team.

Working hours

Development and Alumni Relations at Ipswich School
The School’s Development Office was established in 2006 to work with the School’s communities, including past pupils (known as ‘Old Ipswichians’ or OIs), and current and former parents, to encourage support for Ipswich School through events, volunteering and financial support.

This is an exciting role based in our Development Office, which is vital to the smooth running of our alumni community, the Old Ipswichians. Our alumni are an important part of the School’s past, present and future. In this role you will take the lead in further developing and enhancing our events, alumni engagement and fundraising programme to encourage positive relationships with the School.

You will play a pivotal role in the team; producing engaging copy, editing, proofing and facilitating the delivery of key departmental communications. Working closely with the Development Director, you will also work to develop and implement an engaging fundraising programme.

To undertake this role successfully you will need to have the following skills and experience:

• Be educated to A Level standard with excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Direct events management experience of at least three years
• Experience of fundraising in a charity setting

• Experience in writing copy, with exceptional attention to detail including grammar and spelling

The Project Coordinator will work closely with our team of five Programme Managers to support with the day-to-day operations of the programme. The Public Affairs Assistant will work with the Public Affairs Manager, Director of Policy and Evidence and the Policy and Campaigns Team to help influence decision makers and build stronger relationships with stakeholders, and ensure there is better understanding of the impact that challenges with talking and understanding words can have on a child and young person’s life. 

We are Speech and Language UK (formerly I CAN) – we want every child to face the future with confidence. For 1.9 million children in the UK learning to talk and understand words feels like an impossible hurdle. We want to reach children earlier to make sure every child has the skills to face the future. We design innovative tools and training for staff in schools and settings, give families the confidence and skills to help their child and put pressure on politicians to prioritise support for children.

The post-holder will:

· Provide the administrative support to the Speech, Language and Communication Alliance playing a key role in support the charity to foster stronger relationships with key partners

· Support the Public Affairs Manager in dissemination of briefings and correspondence with parliamentarians and civil servants, including setting up meetings

· Attend meetings as required, both in person and online to facilitate record keeping and liaison

· Maintain the Microsoft Team and SharePoint sites so that documents and notes are securely stored and accessible and version control is maintained.

About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for an Advocate to join our team covering Dundee and surrounding area. You will be involved in one-to-one advocacy along with group work across the area; this could be in a clients’ home or other suitable community venue and be home based for telephone referrals and administrative tasks.  Therefore, access to your own transportation and a suitable home internet connection is essential. 

This is a full time role for 35 hours per week, applicants who do not hold the Level 2 Award in Independent Advocacy will start on £22,500 per annum pro-rata.

About you
