About FareShare South West
FareShare South West is the region’s largest food redistribution charity. We take good-to-eat surplus food that would otherwise go to waste, and share it with over 400 charities, schools and community hubs across the south west, joining the dots between food waste and hunger and transforming an environmental problem into social good.
Purpose of role
FareShare South West’s (FSSW) fundraising strategy and income streams have developed and diversified rapidly in line with major growth since 2017. Individual giving (IG) became a new major fundraising stream for us during the pandemic and is essential for ongoing sustainability as we expand and launch new programmes and operations to fight hunger and food waste.
The Supporter Care Officer (SCO) is responsible for all donor support processes, systems, strategies and individual giving fundraising appeals, which ensure we have excellent relationships with our donors to retain and grow our IG income. Powerful narratives, storytelling and engagement with donors is crucial to ensure that our funding need and impact is shared with supporters.
The SCO will work with the Fundraising Manager (FM) and Chief Fundraising and Communications Officer (CFCO) to grow our major donor, regular giving, appeal and legacy income alongside sustaining our irregular giving and Gift Aid income. The SCO will work with the Fundraising Assistant to thank supporters, record donations and support individuals with their own fundraising events.
The pay scale for this role reflects that we're open to applications from experienced Supporter Care and Individual Giving fundraisers, and also those looking to move into the sector who have transferable skills.

BACKGROUND
The Helen Bamber Foundation (HBF) is a pioneering Human Rights charity supporting refugees and asylum seekers who are the Survivors of extreme human cruelty and trafficking. Our clients have been subjected to atrocities including state-sponsored torture, human trafficking, religious and political persecution, forced labour, sexual exploitation, and gender-based and ‘honour-based’ violence. OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE
As the Senior Grants Executive, you will be responsible for delivering income from a range of donors and prospects, with a focus on trusts and foundations, through the overall management and growth of a successful grants pipeline. We are looking for an ambitious fundraiser who thrives working in a collaborative team and who enjoys inspiring funders to support the Helen Bamber Foundation. You will be part of a Fundraising and Communications Team that has a successful track record of securing income and you will help to further grow the organisation.
You will be managed by our Grants Manager and work closely with the Head of Fundraising and will be responsible for delivering high quality applications and reports to small and medium sized Trusts and Foundations as well as supporting larger donors in collaboration with your team members. This role suits a proactive fundraiser who has experience in Trust and Foundations including prospecting, making successful applications, delivering high quality reports, stewardship and with an ability to develop and grow existing funder relationships.

Background
Our 68-year-old charity is one of the most exciting and flexible employers in the charity sector. Main purpose and scope of Role
This role will play key to engaging with and supporting PTAs across the region, as well as a variety of stakeholders such as schools, parent groups, local authorities, potential sponsors or supporters and other organisations as our suite of programmes grows. This role initially focuses on the following, but is subject to change as programmes are launched or evolved:
PTA Programme
- Growing our network of PTAs.
- Supporting PTAs through leadership transition to minimise PTAs closing unnecessarily.
- Organising gatherings of PTAs to enhance the PTA community.
- Providing training and awareness sessions for PTAs.
- Providing community support to PTAs during peak activity periods online or by phone.
- Helping schools establish PTAs and supporting them during their first year through our new PTA Launchpad programme.
- Hosting and co-ordinating virtual webinars/meetings to demonstrate the value of PTA membership and the support available.
Parent Programme
- Raising awareness of Parentkind’s growing programme of support for parents, directly or indirectly through schools or other partners.
- Building relationships with parent groups to support engagement with our growing suite of parent support opportunities.
- Organising events for parents as part of our Parent Programme.
- Building relationships with regional stakeholders to support Parent Programme activities.
Other Programmes/Services
- Encouraging uptake or (when charged) sales of our broad and growing suite of programmes and services.
- Identifying and engaging with local and regional partners for our range of programmes.
- Feeding into programme design.
Wider Stakeholder Engagement:
- Attending appropriate conferences and educational meetings across the region.
- Developing relationships with key local authorities and individuals so they advocate our services and the benefits of our programmes
- Developing relationships with MATs so that they can advocate Parentkind and the benefits of its programmes.
- Identify any opportunities for external funding to from LA’s, Companies, or other funders with the support of our fundraising team.

Job description
• Work with the Communications Manager to develop and deliver an annual comms schedule, including proactively sourcing case studies and testimonials with video, photography and written content
• Work with the Communications Manager to develop and implement a social media plan with metrics for monitoring and evaluation

Volunteering Development Lead: London
Salary: £28,000 pro-rata
Hours: Part time, 17.5hrs per week (0.5 FTE)

Main objectives
OUTpatients is seeking an experienced Volunteering Development Lead for the Greater London area who can develop an engaged volunteer base to support the charity and its mission.
We are a small charity and this role is new in our organisation. This means that we encourage applicants who have prior experience working in small, developing teams and are able to balance taking initiative with close collaboration with other staff members.
We are looking for a person who can develop and recruit people into a volunteering database and work with these volunteers to support us at events, to deliver activities with the charity, plan fundraisers, and expand our presence within the LGBTIQ+ the community.
A successful applicant should be able to share creative ideas of how to reach underserved communities and have a good appreciation for intersectionality as a cross-cutting consideration throughout their work.

Reporting to: Digital Mobilisation Manager
Safe Passage International (SPI) is recruiting a Digital Officer to coordinate key areas of our digital campaigning and fundraising work. It is an exciting time to join SPI, offering the right candidate the opportunity to drive our social media efforts and influence various facets of our digital work. As we amplify the call for routes to safety and expand our supporter base, the Digital Officer will play a pivotal part in supporting the development and delivery of strategic fundraising initiatives and shaping our new digital mobilisation strategy.
Reporting to the Digital Mobilisation Manager (DMM) and working across both the fundraising and campaigns teams, you will help develop and deliver an engaging, data-driven content strategy for our social media, using both paid and organic methods to raise SPI’s profile and engage supporters. You'll also create impactful content for other digital channels, such as email and website, and collaborate with Safe Passage’s Expert by Experience Consultants, Young Leaders, teams in the UK, France and Greece, and other international projects.
We are looking for candidates who share our hunger for a fairer system for refugees, as well as a genuine passion for social media and online activism. Prior digital experience is welcome, but this could also be your first paid position in the charity sector, or you could be returning to work after time out.
The successful candidate will be encouraged to develop and hone their skills in line with the roles’ requirements. This position will have a dedicated training budget, and you will be supported to grow and develop within the role.
