Cancer Research UK’s is offering a fantastic opportunity for you to play an integral role in the successful delivery of some of the country’s leading events. Our seasonal events run from May to September and generate substantial and sustained income for Cancer Research UK’s life-saving, world class research. Our wonderful events staff work hard to promote our events, deliver them seamlessly and sell our merchandise. You will be involved in major events such Race For Life – which for the first year is now not just open to women, but to everyone!
Cancer Research UK’s event team is split into 9 regional teams across the UK and in 2019 each team will have a dedicated team of Promotional Assistants, Event Assistants, and Event Merchandise Team Leaders. There will also be opportunities to work at our other events such as, Shine and with our Sports team who work with the likes of London Marathon and Manchester Marathon. You will gain first-class experience of the country’s leading events, join a dedicated and social team, and together we will beat cancer sooner!
We have 3 opportunities available for our Events season…
Event Assistants and Promotional Marketing Assistants
£8.72 per hour
Casual Worker Contract: May - November 2020
Locations: covering London - Within the M25 (Please note, this is a field-based role, therefore applicants will need to live within easy access to the region for travel to events)
Event Merchandise Team Leader
Salary: £9.00 per hour
Contract type: Casual worker

Field-based role - Driving licence needed as there is a requirement to drive and/or lend a van for this post. Expenses covered if using a personal vehicle
Location: Covering London - within the M25 (please note, you will need to be located within these areas in order to be able to travel across the regions easily)
