Executive Project Manager (Philanthropy and Partnerships)

Location: Angel

Salary: £29,000 to £34,000 plus benefits

  • To work on a range of strategic projects and planning processes across our Philanthropy & Partnerships directorate (P&P). This includes embedding the strategy, the financial planning processes and annual completion of the operating plan - in close collaboration with senior members of the team and stakeholders outside of the directorate.

  • To ensure the Executive Director is fully prepared for important internal meetings with the Executive Board and Trustees. This can require preparing thought papers, reports, briefings, speeches and presentations.

  • To work alongside the management team to plan effective Leadership meetings which are aligned to key priorities for the directorate. This will involve planning agenda items, prioritising key issues and actively participating in meetings where appropriate.

  • To be responsible for internal communications within the directorate, delivering creative, effective and informative communications portfolio.

  • To manage the P&P stream of the Cancer Research UK Graduate Scheme

  • Strong analytical skills and an ability to identify key themes and concepts in complex material

  • Excellent interpersonal and networking skills and great communications skills, both verbal and written.
