Cancer Research UK (CRUK) is the world's leading independent charity dedicated to cancer research. The role of Interim Head of Fundraising Intelligence & Operations will enable you to be part of a collective force pioneering life-saving research in the relentless fight against cancer.
The postholder will play a leading role in CRUK’s Philanthropy & Partnerships team and work to help deliver the charity’s significant fundraising potential. The purpose of the role is to ensure intelligence is developed and utilised so that high value fundraising at CRUK has the best chance of success.
Leading a team of 18, with two direct reports, the Interim Head of Fundraising Intelligence & Operations will achieve this by managing the prospect research, due diligence, data, insight and reporting functions, whilst also working to embed and deliver intelligence principles at every level of Philanthropy & Partnerships.
The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with the ability to motivate and inspire a high-performing team. Crucially you will have proven experience influencing at the highest levels as well as a great understanding of delivering intelligence or insight within a high value fundraising environment.
If successful, all teams within Philanthropy & Partnerships will understand their pipeline performance and areas for optimisation or improvement. Strategy development will have intelligence at its core, with fundraisers equipped with the knowledge to build successful and long-lasting relationships with CRUK’s partners and high value donors.
