We have an opportunity for a Logistic Support Administrator to join our exiting retail distribution chain, based in our National Distribution Centre in Barkston Heath, Grantham

What will I be doing?

You'll need to be a confident communicator as you will be working with contractors, shops, customers and Rag merchants. You will be carrying out general administrative and reporting duties, providing support for the management of the Trading nationwide supply chain, including corporate, new goods and public donations.

Make an impact every day by:

  • Supporting the goods in and outbound booking process in conjunction with the NDC requirements, liaising with hauliers regarding deliveries & using third party booking sites

  • Monitoring and reordering consumables and packaging as required

  • Producing despatch notes, packing notes and answering stakeholder queries regarding product distribution. Process and record material deliveries, reporting nonconformities, damages and discrepancies

  • Create purchases orders and process invoices according to defined authorisation processes within Business World

  • Monitor and produce volume and income reports for waste and rag including chasing outstanding payments and resolving shop/merchant/supplier complaints

  • Support with the administration of national storage solutions, processing monthly recharges and producing reports on usage to relevant stakeholders

  • Collating KPI, productivity data for the NDC, completing dashboards and reporting as required

  • Supporting Health and Safety administration

  • Point of contact for Trading calls & emails, ensuring office is organised and tidy, supporting filing systems and other day to day tasks

You'll be able to bring to the role:

  • Experience of working in a busy office and warehouse environment and an effective team worker

  • IT literate, with a very good understanding of Microsoft Office (excel/word)

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

  • Able to work with limited supervision, well organised and a strong ability to prioritise

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal and to a variety of audiences

  • Able and willing to go above and beyond this position description to ensure success, with flexibility and willingness to perform other tasks as needed.
