RELATIONSHIP MANAGER - FUNDRAISING
Internally this role is known as Relationship Manager - Product Neutral
Salary: £30,500 - 33,500 per annum, inclusive of car allowance worth £4,500. Car allowances are not viewed as a benefit or as any part of remuneration. Employees who receive a car allowance must provide a suitable car for business purposes, and is based on the criteria of a minimum business mileage of 5,000 per annum.
Contract length: Permanent, Full-time, 35 hours/week. We are open to flexible working arrangement i.e., compressed hours.
Location: Home-based/Field-based from Oxford to Reading and the surrounding areas.

Why we need you
We are looking for a sales, business development or fundraising professional who is excited to join our hard-working team in and around Cheltenham, Worcester, Gloucester, Hereford. You will be confident in both managing and developing existing relationships but also looking for new leads to maximise on potential income.
What will I be doing?
Relationship Managers work within the community to provide individuals, groups and corporates an exceptional supporter experience and level of service. Their is aim to inspire and motivate supporters to maximise on all fundraising opportunities for our life-saving research.
We're looking for a natural people person, with excellent relationship building skills. You'll be used to managing conflicting priorities and be adaptable in an environment where no two days are the same. This is a flexible role, where you will be spending approximately 60% of time working from home, 40% travelling around your patch meeting supporters. There will be some evening working required to attend committee meetings however you will get this time back via our time off in lieu policy.

Excellent networking and relationship manager skills - and the ability to motivate and influence supporters or customers to reach targets.
The ability and skills to acquire new business and maximise on all fundraising opportunities.
Experience of working as a team, and also working unsupervised.
The ability to understand CRUK's vision and purpose, and using this to motivate and inspire supporters.
A strong solutions focused approach to help supporters overcome any challenges and maximise their fundraising efforts.
Great time management, prioritisation and planning skills.
Excellent communication and presentation skills (face to face, written and phone)
