Research Executive (Due Diligence)

Salary: £23,750 p.a. inclusive of London Weighting + excellent benefits

Contract length: Permanent

Location: Angel, London

Are you a self-motivated individual with strong research and analytical skills that can help us beat cancer sooner?

We are looking for someone to...

  • Prioritise and manage a large number of research requests
  • Deliver high quality research on donors and prospects that clearly and succinctly details any areas of concern
  • Escalate any concerns in accordance with CRUK’s policy and record decision-making processes in a timely and consistent fashion
  • Keep fundraisers, Directors and Heads informed of relevant news relating to key supporters and prospects
  • Attend and take minutes of specific meetings as required.

Now we need a Research Executive to carry out due diligence checks on £10k+ donors and prospects, ensuring income received comes from both legal and ethical sources. By doing so, we enable department Heads to make informed decisions about whether to continue a relationship with prospective donors and partners.

This is an entry level position for a bright and ambitious individual with a keen interest in high-value fundraising in the charity sector. It is a great opportunity to join a sector-leading team in the UK’s largest charity.

  • Strong research and analytical skills
  • Interest in and willingness to learn about prospect research and research methods
  • Proven ability to work to a brief and understand client requirements
  • Ability to collect and assess information rapidly, identifying key points and summarising as appropriate.
