Senior Strategy Manager

Contract: 12-month FTC
Salary: £45,000-£55,000 dependant on experience, plus benefits.

Being in the strategy team at Cancer Research UK means you'll be at the heart of shaping our future direction - ultimately aiming to maximise the impact we have on cancer outcomes for people in the UK and around the world.

It's an exciting time to join as we have new leadership and are in the initial stages of developing a new corporate strategy to launch in 2020. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for the delivery of high profile strategy projects, play a critical role in building strategy capability in the team and around the organisation and be at the centre of strong internal and external networks.
Who are you?
You may have a background in strategy, commercial, finance, consulting or operational management. We are looking for candidates who can:
- Approach problems in a structured way, using data analysis, sound financial and business acumen, and logical reasoning to support your conclusions
- Communicate information clearly, and in a way that drives decision making
- Challenge the status quo
- Manage projects and adapt to a rapidly changing working environment
- Think creatively, showing flair and imagination in tackling complex tasks
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and colleagues
- Design and facilitate meetings to achieve objectives
- Work independently as well as in teams
- Lead and mentor other team members
