Job Description

Service Designer

Salary: Competitive
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 28 or 35 hours

Are you a passionate Service Designer - ready to make your move into a cause driven environment? You could help us our goal to 3 in 4 surviving cancers by 2034.

What will I be doing?
Working in cross-functional teams, Service Designers co-design new or improved services with our staff and our communities, whilst embedding ownership and accountability of the service journeys into teams across the charity. You'll hold the space and connection between different professionals to ensure that the balance between user experience and organizational outcomes is orchestrated in the right way.

Make an impact every day by:
* Researching, designing and testing end-to-end services
* Coaching and supporting business leaders to successfully embed digital ownership in their teams
* Setting measures for value and tracking them
* Helping set strategic direction based on business needs
* Building a full-stack Service Design capability inside and outside the team

You can help us beat cancer through your...
* Expertise in designing new or improved user centric services within digital transformation
* Experience of service development and delivery - including idea validation and discovery, planning, user experience design, customer research and usability testing - as well as of monitoring and optimising services for a variety of audiences
* Understanding of the core technical aspects and dependencies around digital platforms and systems
* Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
