Why we need you
We have an exciting opportunity for you to join us as a Supporter Services Outbound Executive. We need you to proactively contact and engage with supporters who register for our events, deliver event preparation support and, ultimately, ensure a seamless supporter experience.
What will I be doing?
Make an impact every day by…
Contacting new supporters to welcome them to events and start a process of engagement
Assessing supporter requirements and needs in order to establish an individual future contact plan
Establishing excellent 1-2-1 relationships with highly engaged supporters
Providing excellent customer service via phone, email and print
Creating and sending personalised welcome and thank you cards to supporters
Managing inbound telephone and email correspondence from supporters
Providing fundraising materials to supporters, enabling them to maximise their fundraising potential
In this role, you'll act as an ambassador for Cancer Research UK to engender loyalty and trust from our supporters. Every interaction with our supporters is a unique opportunity and chance to further strengthen the relationship, which is where you can really make a difference.

What skills are you looking for?
You'll be able to bring to the role…
Relevant experience in a customer / supporter service contact environment
A passion for delivering excellent customer service
Experience of conversing confidently with a wide range of individuals
Experience of writing letters / emails with a high standard of grammar, spelling and presentation
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to quickly build rapport
Ability to work well as part of a team.
