Head of Income Generation, Marketing & Communications
Cancer Research Wales
Every 30 minutes, someone in Wales is diagnosed with cancer and each week, 171 families in Wales lose a loved one to cancer. There are now over 130,000 people in Wales who are living with or have had cancer. This number would almost fill Cardiff’s Principality Stadium twice over. The discoveries our scientists are making in hospitals and universities across Wales are transforming how people with cancer are diagnosed and treated. This ground-breaking research is helping more people survive cancer than ever before.
We do not receive any government funding, so this innovative work is only made possible through our generous supporters and donors.
