An exciting opportunity has arisen to work with Eldon Housing Association. We are looking for a great Tenant Activities and Engagement Officer.
You will make a significant contribution to the future direction of Eldon by adding value, ideas & inspiration and really drive forward our continued success. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a developing independent and sustainable organisation with tenants at the heart of everything we do.
This is a varied and exciting role, focussing on our tenants who live across four extra care sites and five sheltered housing sites, with the majority being older people.
Key areas of the role are:
· Developing a programme of engaging activities for our tenants
· Engaging with tenants to understand their needs and aspirations.
· Promoting a philosophy of privacy, dignity independence, choice, rights and fulfilment.
· Working collaboratively with colleagues, supporting tenants’ meetings, building networks.
· Supporting volunteering opportunities

The ideal person for this role will have the ability to work with older people, particularly those with vulnerabilities and an understanding of the challenges they may face, including living with Dementia. You will be able to deliver creative and engaging activities and understand how to work in partnership with others.

The area of Prevention supports vulnerable people by providing them with skills, housing advice, accommodation, and tenancy sustainment support. All the services within the area of prevention work to help people transition towards leading independent lives.
We are looking for an Employment Specialist (Support Worker) to join the Individual Placement and Support Team (IPS). The Lambeth Living Well Network Alliance is a collaboration of organisations Thames Reach; Certitude South London Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust, Lambeth Council; and South-East London Clinical Commissioning Group. The goal of all organisations is to provide mental health services and support to working age adults in Lambeth.
Thames Reach welcomes applications from people with transferable skills.
As an Employment Specialist (Support Worker) you will be responsible for:
- Build relationships and promote the service within clinical teams to generate referrals. Collaborative work with TR staff and other key stakeholders to support service users' employment goals.
- Manage an active caseload where you will work with people to develop vocational profiles and action plans to help people achieve their employment goals.
- Build relationships with diverse employers to source job opportunities.
- Network and develop opportunities to support people to get closer to their employment goals.
- Work collaboratively with the team and partners to deliver a high-quality service that exceeds the job sustainment outcomes.
- Keep accurate data, evidence, and update the case management system, understanding the need for to evidence work.
To succeed as an Employment Specialist (Support Worker), you will need have:
- Knowledge and experience of providing support to people to find employment.
- Be able to initiate and develop relationships with employers and other agencies for the people to access opportunities and overcome barriers to get them closer to employment.
- Empower and motivate people to build the skills and confidence they need to find and keep work.
- Good IT skills and administration - Be effective in recording and reporting data.

We are looking for a Senior Employment Specialist to join the Lambeth Individual Placement Support Service team.
As a Senior Employment Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Providing exceptional support to people with mental health issues into suitable and sustainable employment.
- Assertively engaging with people from referral, into work and beyond for sustainment, offering comprehensive support in skills identification and practical guidance.
- Playing a crucial role in supporting sustained success for people and employers post-employment.
- Establishing relationships with key stakeholders in mental health teams, with employers and skills providers for effective referrals and successful outcomes whilst supporting senior managers to compile monthly and quarterly data for reporting submissions.
- Ensuring accurate data collection, recording and maintenance of an up-to-date case management system.
- Managing volunteers and support the induction process as and when required and attending regular meetings with Mental Health teams.
To succeed as a Senior Employment Specialist, you will have:
- Knowledge and experience of providing employment support to vulnerable people.
- Experience with communicating and building relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- To be able to empower and motivate people to help build confidence and resilience.
- To be organised, have good time-management skills, and be able to keep clear and up-to-date records.
- Experience of working independently.
- Excellent IT and administrative skills.
