Finance Officer

The Finance Officer will work closely with the wider finance team at CARE International UK in the delivery of our financial objectives. The work you do will ensure that financial transactions are accurately entered onto the General ledger, which will support accurate financial reporting and decision making.

You will work with colleagues in the Financial Accounting team to ensure a sound system of internal financial control is in place, support with statutory financial reporting, and ensure that treasury management, cash flow forecasting, accounts receivable and accounts payable processes are carried out.

Ideally you will have 12+ months working in a busy finance function, and have a good understanding of double entry book-keeping. You might already be a Finance Officer for a smaller organisation, or you may work in an Accounts Payable, Receivable or Income Processing Team.
