Career Connect is a large vibrant and innovative Charity deliverying Advice and guidance services across the Northwest. We help adults and young peple make informed choices to succeed in work, education and training.

We have successfully delivered a wide range of contracts and have expanded our reach well beyond the Liverpool City Region, with significatn delivery across Manchester and the North West.

Achieve North West Connect are a wholly owned subsidiary of Career Connect and specialise in targeted support for offenders in custody and community (including 'through the gate').

If you have experience of working with offenders and you want to make a difference, we would love to hear from you.We’ll give you all the training you need to do the Case Manager job and provide you with support to get established in the new role. 

We employ a team of 45 Case Managers across the NW, who are very proud to work on this highly successful ESF programme. We currently have vacancies within Barrow-In-Furness, Blackpool, Stockport and Tameside.

We are especially looking for applicants who can connect with people to help move them forward, embrace the quality and compliance requirements and work towards targets. 

The job will involve working with people in custody or subject to supervision in the community, to engage them in learning, training and employment opportunities, either through one to one interviews or group work.  You’ll need to be a good communicator and effective at working with partners to ensure the best results for our participants. Recording of accurate information on participant plans and progress is an important part of the job, so you’ll need to be comfortable working on systems and have a strong attention to detail. 

Our full-time staff enjoy a reasonable 35h working week and we also offer flexi-time, so when we ask our staff to do extra, we always make sure they’ve got those hours to take back another time. It’s a great benefit of working for Career Connect.
