We are currently seeking a Carer Support Adviser – Team Lead to join our team in the London Boroughs of Newham and Hackney. The requirements of the role will include, working with carers to identify need and provide information, advice, guidance and wellbeing support, pro-active identification of carers through partnership working and support the Service Manager to lead and supervise Carers First’s Newham and Hackney community-based services team.
To be successful you will have experience of working with adults either in a 1:1 or group setting, working knowledge of social care and health, particularly in relation to adults. Experience of managing people is required and you will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. High standards of written skills are essential to help the carer identify their information and support needs and to present these in a personal action plan.
