This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and experienced communications professional to really make a difference. As Communications Manager you will play a vital role in increasing the visibility and profile of Carers First helping us to engage with our existing networks as well as reaching and supporting new carers.
The successful candidate will lead on building the charity’s brand and harness its potential to raise awareness of the issues affecting unpaid carers and deliver high quality communication work to clear targets.
Working closely with the Director of Income and Communications, the Communications Manager will support with the development and introduction of a transformative new communications strategy.
Building on Carers First’s existing work, the successful candidate will manage the charity’s digital platforms including the website, social media and electronic publications as well as regular printed materials and media work. The candidate will utilise their skills and experience to support the organisation as it moves to pursue new and varied funding streams and take an active role as a member of Carers First’s management team.
You will have a broad range of communications and marketing skills, with at least three years’ experience in a similar role.
The location for the position is flexible but candidates must be willing to work out of one of Carers First’s main offices.
