Carers’ Hub plays a vital role in Lambeth, supporting the many unpaid carers across the borough with 1-1 and peer support, signposting, monthly forums, training, workshops and social activities. We are a charity with ambition, a big heart, and an outsized impact.
This is an opportunity to lead a talented and dedicated staff team as we enter the next phase of our development. Carers’ Hub Lambeth was only established as an independent organisation in July 2018, having previously been the Lambeth division of a much larger charity which closed. We have achieved a lot since then in what has been an exciting and dynamic time. New finance and HR systems, an excellent relationship with the local authority and partner organisations, a switch to the cloud, a new database, 9 new team members, a new Board of Trustees and a rebrand mean that the key building blocks are in place for future success.
Carers’ Hub is entering a period of consolidation, but there is still much to do. As the CEO (maternity cover) you will provide leadership and stability to the staff team ensuring we maintain the high quality of our core services, build on existing work streams to strengthen our organisational processes and work with our engaged and supportive Board of Trustees to develop a long-term strategy.
