Job Description

Carers' Hub Lambeth is looking for a part time (28 hours/week) Service Coordinator to join the adult carers team specialising in supporting unpaid carers who look after somebody with a learning disability.

You will facilitate a mix of established groups and forums and offer 1:1 support, as well as have the opportunity to work collaboratively with carers to shape and expand the existing programme, giving you the opportunity to be creative and put the ideas, which you will develop in partnership with carers, into practice. 

You will have exceptional people skills and enjoy taking responsibility for problem solving, using your initiative and working flexibly in a busy, fast paced environment.  You will be someone who is able to motivate and inspire carers to come along and take part in groups and you will enjoy working collaboratively in a small team to achieve shared goals.

Carers' Hub Lambeth is in an exciting phase of its development as we recently took the step to set up as an independent charity having been a service hosted by a much larger charity for the last 9 years.  We are a small dedicated team with big ambitions and as such are able to offer lots of opportunities to develop new skills.
