We are on the lookout for a dedicated Fundraising Manager to lead on all things fundraising; individual giving, legacies, corporate partnerships, community fundraising, trusts & foundations. The successful applicant will be given license to develop a team to support a key organisational priority; diversifying our income to support the development of amazing front line services.
CARERS IN BEDFORDSHIRE:
Founded in 2004, Carers in Bedfordshire has experienced a meteoric rise from a peer support group to an organisation that supports over 8,000 unpaid carers across Bedfordshire. Our dedicated staff team and army of volunteers are key to our success but with an estimated 40,000 unpaid carers in Bedfordshire the need to grow remains ever present.

Leading on all things fundraising you will work closely with the CEO to develop a fundraising strategy that is focused on increasing income to enable the delivery of some exciting and transformative projects. Your primary goal will be to build the internal infrastructure to support a new fundraising department whilst securing income through a variety of sources.

25-35 hours per week.

OUR WISH LIST:
Proven experience of delivering successful, sustainable fundraising and first-class donor care. You'll be an excellent communicator and relationship-builder, highly organised with an ability to inspire passion in others.
You will enjoy working in collaboration with other teams to deliver first class reports and project specifications.
You will identify, generate and grow charitable income across various fundraising streams including trusts and foundations, corporate, legacies, major donors, individual giving and community fundraising to develop and implement a sustainable fundraising strategy.
The role will focus on generating donations from trusts and foundations as well as corporate sponsorship, while growing the reputation of the charity on a regional level. Initially you will be the charity’s main fundraiser, implementing the full fundraising mix, maximising income and developing new and innovative fundraising streams. It is expected that you will then recruit individuals to support your fundraising strategy in collaboration with the CEO.
