Title Fundraising manager
Hours 37 hours per week (full-time)
Salary £27,000 per annum
Based St Ives, Cambridgeshire (regular travel across Cambridgeshire, Peterborough, Norfolk will be required)
About the role
We are proud to support 12,000 carers and their families every year. During an exciting time as we deliver our new strategy to enable us to help even more carers, we are seeking an experienced fundraiser with the enthusiasm, expertise and commitment to shape and deliver our fundraising plan and activities. Working within the motivated fundraising and engagement team, you will use your skills, experience and knowledge of the third sector to maximise voluntary income for Caring Together from our local community.
About Caring Together
Three in five of us will become a carer at some point in our life. We will look after a family member or friend who, due to illness, disability, a mental health problem or addiction, cannot cope without our support. There are 178,000 carers across Cambridgeshire, Peterborough and Norfolk and we know there are many more who are not recognised as carers. This is projected to rise to 264,000 by 2030. Caring Together is a leading regional charity who provide information and advice, run services in local communities and campaign so that carers have choices.
- To work alongside the head of fundraising and engagement and other members of the fundraising and engagement team to develop a fundraising plan
- To lead on delivery of the fundraising plan and co-ordinate all community fundraising activity
- To effectively monitor, evaluate and report on fundraising streams and achieve income generation targets
