An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Practitioner to join our Hampshire Young Peoples Substance Misuse Service.

At Catch22, we are proud of our reputation as a modern and progressive employer. Our work spans education, social justice and rehabilitation, children's social care, family support, social action and getting people into work.

Hampshire 24/7 is a county-wide specialist treatment service offering targeted and specialist support to young people. We offer a tailored package of support to young people under 25 including one to one and group work support, a 24-hour help line, pharmacological support and needle exchange. Young people are at the centre of all we do. We ensure the young person knows they will be listened to at all times.

Our service is delivered by a multi professional team with a designated worker for each district of the county. The service offers a community engagement model, supporting children and young people where they feel most comfortable whilst working at their pace. Our is work is supported by our partnership with Inclusion Recovery Hampshire and Parent Support Link.

This exciting role has responsibility for the operational oversight of our specialist substance misuse service.  You’ll be responsible for managing a diverse and highly committed team, allocating referrals and ensuring caseload management structures are in place.  As the designated safeguarding lead in the service, you will need to ensure that all safeguarding processes are followed.  Working in partnership with local organisations and relevant agencies, you’ll need to ensure that the diverse needs and aspirations of all groups of service users are considered in service delivery.

To succeed in this role, you’ll need significant experience of working with young people in a treatment and/or prescribing setting for substance use/misuse.  Excellent relationship building skills and experience of inter-agency working are also essential.  Above all you’ll have a passion for the work we do and a shared commitment to deliver our vision.
