Head of Care

Catholic Care is a values led Charity where our values determine what we do and how we do it. The Charity serves the needs of those who are disadvantaged, vulnerable and marginalised, without discrimination, providing its services across Yorkshire to people of all faiths or of no faith at all.
The Charity has come along way since it opened its first orphanage in 1863 (160 years ago) Today the 200 members of staff and over 140 volunteers, care for thousands of people every year. We offer services for babies and parents, children and young adults, schools, people with learning disabilities, refugees, people living with poor mental health, older people and those who are socially marginalised.
Following a restructure, the Board of Trustees is now seeking to appoint a Head of Care, who will report directly to the Director and play an active role in the Strategic Leadership Team. Responsibilities will include contributing to strategic direction, to lead and develop teams and to lead the delivery of care for the Charity.
Throughout its history Catholic Care has continually changed in response to new challenges and new areas of need and it remains forward thinking today. This exciting role will require the Head of Care to play a full part, along with the Charity’s Trustees and Director, in shaping and delivering future developments.

Salary will be negotiable and commensurate with experience for this high level position.
