We are currently recruiting for a Corporate Partnerships Officer to join our team to account manage a portfolio of partners and support our largest partnerships, ensuring excellence in relationship management to the highest standard. You will join us working 35 hours per week and in return you will receive a competitive salary of up to £30,781.96 per annum plus excellent benefits.

This is a key role within the Corporate Partnerships team, working collaboratively across the organisation. We work with a range of valued corporate partners and have ambitious plans to grow sustainable net income each year, to help the thousands of cats that need us. This role will help support the Partnerships Team achieve its income targets by providing high quality support for current partners, partner engagement and excellent stewardship. This role will manage a portfolio of partners to help implement the Corporate Partnerships fundraising plan and increase sustainable net income for Cats Protection as well as support the Corporate Partnerships team in developing new corporate partnerships and develop existing partnerships.
Responsibilities of our Corporate Partnerships Officer:
As Corporate Partnerships Officer you will help identify, research and cultivate relationships with existing partners and to help implement the corporate partnerships fundraising plan, aligned with the wider fundraising strategy.
You will hold responsibility for managing a portfolio of partners providing cultivation and engagement strategies which maximise their lifetime value, using corporate fundraising techniques and support the development of creative and compelling proposals for existing partners and develop inspiring and engaging communications.
You will support the Corporate Partnerships team with larger accounts and projects and the transition of new business accounts to the account management team, liaise with volunteer branches and centres in the implementation of national partnerships, manage the administration and marketing of Payroll Giving and keep concise records of partnership projects on the central database.
What we’re looking for in our Corporate Partnerships Officer:
- Experience of working in a volunteering or charity environment
- Corporate fundraising experience or charity background
- Understand high value fundraising principles, practices and processes, using verbal and written communication to engage, influence and motivate donors to give
- Ability to write compelling proposals
- Experience of using a CRM database
- Have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively – orally and in writing, with a wide range of individuals both internally and externally
- Understanding of corporate fundraising principles, practices and processes, including ethical screening, VAT and logo

We have ambitious plans to significantly expand and further enhance our online retail proposition in the next 12-24 months.
Responsibilities of our Retail Online Hub Manager:
As Retail Online Hub Manager, you will lead, develop and manage the donated online hub operation in order to maximise our donated online income stream. As well as driving income, you will also manage expenditure to maximise the profit contribution from the online hub. You hold line management responsibility for the Online Sales Listers and be responsible for a group of volunteers who support our online operation.
What we’re looking for in our Retail Online Hub Manager:
- Experience of managing eBay or other comparable online operations
- Demonstrable learning and experience from functioning in a relevant ecommerce environment
- Previous experience of line managing a team and building a culture of achieving collective goals
- Experience and/or understanding of working to sales targets and budgets
- A full valid UK driving license and access to a vehicle

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Supporter Care Team Leader to join our Supporter Services team. You will join us working 35 hours per week, on a 12 month fixed term contract and will be based at both our National Cat Centre in East Sussex and from home. The Supporter Services team is part of the Cats Protection Marketing & Income Generation directorate. We answer queries from supporters about memberships, sponsorships, lotteries, raffles and donations. We also record and update the contact preferences of our supporters to ensure we only send communications which are wanted. The Supporter Services team is also responsible for the management of the Gift Aid scheme for Cats Protection, claiming money back from HMRC to provide much needed assistance to the many cats and kittens in need of help. We look to provide the best service possible to our supporters, although we never stop striving to improve this service.
Responsibilities of our Supporter Care Team Leader:
As Supporter Care Team Leader you will lead a team of Supporter Services Advisors, who are the first point of contact for fundraising enquiries, and through direct communication with supporters via a variety of channels (including inbound and outbound telephone calls, letters, email and social media response), build loyal, committed relationships with supporters. You will establish and maintain processes and procedures to provide a first-class level of customer care to current and potential supporters.
What we’re looking for in our Supporter Care Team Leader:
- Demonstrable experience of line managing staff including setting objectives, managing performance, conduct, staff development, induction and training in line with organisational policies
- Demonstrable experience in a supporter relations or customer care environment
- Experience of delivering a high quality of telephone-based customer support or service
- Experience of handling complex complaints and queries
- Understanding of compliance within an supporter care environment, including Data Protection, Fundraising Code of Practice, Gift Aid etc.

- A full, manual driving license is essential

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Neutering Finance Assistant. You will join us working 35 hours per week, on a 6 month fixed-term contract. You will be based at our National Cat Centre in Chelwood Gate, East Sussex with the opportunity to work from home a few days a week. In return you will receive a salary of up to £23,130.12 per annum plus excellent benefits.
This is a hybrid role and you will be required to attend the office 1-2 days a week, with the rest of the week spent working from home (or in the office if you prefer). Please ensure you are of a suitable commuting distance.

One of the Charity's main objectives is to support neutering. In 2020 we helped 109,000 cats with vouchers for neutering. The neutering finance team record accurate information through our neutering schemes that supports the wider Cats Protection aims and objectives. They develop good working relationships with Veterinary practices and payments are made on a timely basis. They are a team of six, working closely together to help and support each other and the wider Finance department.
Responsibilities of our Neutering Finance Assistant:
As a Neutering Finance Assistant, you will work accurately and diligently processing neutering vouchers and related invoices on a daily basis, checking data entered and responding to vets in relation to query files. Accuracy and attention to detail are essential for this role. You will assist in the checking of neutering statements, ensuring payments have been processed and vet payment details are up to date. You will handle appropriately all telephone, email and written enquiries regarding Neutering Vouchers from other departments, vets and branches, interrogating the system to answer queries and producing reports for vets. Developing knowledge on voucher campaigns, cat neutering and the aims and objectives of Cats Protection to support vets and branches.
What we’re looking for in our Neutering Finance Assistant:
- Strong knowledge and experience of working within an office environment – ideally within a finance team
- Ability to process data accurately and quickly – a keen eye for detail is a must
- Experience of using Microsoft Excel & Outlook to an intermediate level, this is essential as the role is heavily data entry based
- Experience of working in an accounts receivable or accounts payable department – desirable
- Experience of using accounting software/systems or a similar type of database desirable but not essential
- Experience of developing good customer service

This role will be part of a core delivery team leading the charity through discovery and implementation of the system.
Responsibilities of our CRM Project Manager:
The CRM Project Manager will work closely with the wider CRM Project team and will be responsible for providing comprehensive project management for the delivery of a new Microsoft Dynamics CRM platform. This role will require ownership from concept through to implementation and evaluation. The role will also be responsible for managing supplier relationships, comms, reporting, budgets, and ultimately tracking the realisation of business benefits.
What we’re looking for in our CRM Project Manager:
- Previous CRM project delivery and implementation experience is essential (MS Dynamics preferred)
- Experience in CRM project planning and resourcing
- Strong understanding of CRM concepts and best practice, processes and software
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a collaborative approach to working
- An influential and persuasive communicator with the ability to communicate with people at all levels within the organisation

This is a varied role where you be responsible for over 15 shops and requires the successful candidate to be flexible to travel around the region.
