Area Retail Van Driver – To be based at Midsomer Norton
Part time - 21 hours per week
£9,485.68pa plus excellent benefits

Cats Protection is the UK’s leading feline welfare charity. We now help around 193,000 cats and kittens through our network of over 250 volunteer-run branches and 36 adoption centres and homing centres.
We are now recruiting for a new Area Retail Van Driver to support the shops in the South West England and South Wales region, on a part time, permanent basis. Our Van Driver will enable the safe and timely collection and delivery of goods donated to, transferred from, and sold by Cats Protection. Based from the Midsomer Norton shop, you will be covering all shops in Abergavenny, Barry, Cardiff, Cheltenham, Cowbridge, Forest of Dean, Mumbles, Street and Wellington.
Part of this role will involve lifting and carrying. We’re looking for a Driver who is happy to supervise volunteers whilst ensuring they operate within Health and Safety guidelines. Uniforms will be provided and must be worn at all times.
- You must be qualified to drive a large van up to 3.5T laden, with a full and current UK Driver’s Licence with C1 category included, with fewer than 3 penalty points
- You must have a knowledge of Health & Safety issues in the retail sector
- You must be self-motivated, well organised and an excellent team player
- For insurance purposes you need to be over 25 years of age
