We are seeking an ambitious Digital Marketing Assistant to join our innovative, award-winning team of fundraisers.
Cats Protection is the UK’s leading feline welfare charity with a nationwide network of adoption and homing centres, volunteer-run branches and charity shops. During 2019 we helped around 191,000 cats and kittens, an average of more than 520 per day.
The Digital Marketing team sits within the Income Generation Directorate of the charity and works with all teams from events to legacy, to high value giving to retail; to maximise supporter engagement and increase income for all fundraising streams through digital.
Cats Protection has seen a transformational growth in digital fundraising over the past few years and this is a very exciting time to join us. You will play a key role within the digital marketing team ensuring that income is maximised, in order for us to reach our ambitious targets.
This role will work across all digital marketing channels, focusing on digital advertising, website and search where you will be assisting on campaign delivery and providing administrative support to the team. You will be tasked with circulating copy and artwork for internal sign off, creating landing pages, updating and circulating results spreadsheets and helping the team on variety of other projects. You will also assist the team with administration, including invoicing, updating our database and responding to team enquiries.
You will have enthusiasm for all things digital fundraising as well as strong planning and organisational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments and agencies. Experience of working in a charity or digital marketing/fundraising discipline would be an advantage but not essential.
