We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Media Team Administrator to join our team here at Cats Protection. You will join us working 35 hours per week and in return you will receive a competitive salary of up to £23,847.12 (Band 5) per annum plus excellent benefits.

Cats Protection is the UK’s leading feline welfare charity with a nationwide network of adoption and homing centres, volunteer-run branches and charity shops. During 2020, despite all of the challenges, we helped 126,000 cats and kittens. That's the equivalent of around 345 cats a day!

Our Media Team generates positive coverage so we can maintain and enhance our reputation as the UK’s leading feline welfare charity. This includes handling enquiries from journalists and managing campaigns and events such as the National Cat Awards, ensuring Cats Protection achieves the recognition it deserves

Responsibilities of our Media Team Administrator:

As our Administrator, you will be responsible for the coordination of the Media Team’s day-to-day administration. You will manage the relationship with the charity’s contracted media monitoring suppliers including implementing new systems and processes. You will also hold responsibility for putting together evaluation reports, organising meetings and collating our charity’s daily media summary to our staff and volunteers.

What we’re looking for in our Media Team Administrator:

  • Previous experience supporting a busy media office or similar environment
  • Experience of collating reports
  • Proven ability to multi-task and work on own initiative, accurately and under pressure
  • A confident communicator
