We are looking for an exceptional individual who can help influence and shape volunteering within Cats Protection.
Cats Protection is the UK’s leading feline welfare charity with a nationwide network of centres, volunteer-run branches and charity shops. We help around 191,000 cats and kittens every year - that’s around 520 a day!
The role of the Volunteering Development team is to work closely with our leaders and managers to capture the true potential of volunteers in making a difference to cats and kittens across the UK.
You will play a key role in the Volunteering Development team, contributing to the development of the volunteering strategy, policies, procedures and systems. You will support, lead and coach others in effective volunteer involvement, management and leadership, work with colleagues to develop new and innovative volunteer projects and lead on volunteer-led initiatives and programmes within the Volunteer Development Team.
Our successful candidate will have a strong volunteering ethos with vast experience of supporting, managing and coaching volunteer managers within a complex, Third Sector environment. You will be a strong communicator, innovative and solutions focused. Being flexible, adaptable and self-motivated are key requirements of this role.
