Centre 33 are currently looking to recruit a qualified therapist in the role of Mental Health & Counselling Project worker, initially based in two South Cambridgeshoire schools (secondary). As part of an established and supportive team of counsellors, you will provide short term therapeutic interventions to young people experiencing a range of difficulties. In addition to ongoing case work, you will be responsible for the assessment of young people’s mental health needs who are seeking to access support via school referral. We particularly welcome applicants with training in single session thinking although this is not an essential requirement of the role.
It is essential that applicants are able to demonstrate significant experience and formal learning in the area of adolescent/young adult counselling. We can only consider applications from therapists qualified to Level 4 and above and who have successfully completed a BACP/UKCP accredited training.
The role will work to Centre 33’s values of being young people led, collaborative, inclusive and striving for excellence.
