Salary: £21,375.64 per annum
Hours: Full time 37 per week
Contract: Permanent, 3 vacancies available (Including mornings, evenings, weekends and bank holidays)
Centre 404 is a friendly, local and thriving charity with an excellent reputation for providing high quality support and services to people with learning disabilities and their families in North London.
We are looking for 3 enthusiastic and motivated individuals to fulfil the role of Senior Support Worker within a new Floating Support Service based in Camden, which provides support to adults with mild-moderate learning disabilities and a range of other needs, including mental health and complex health needs.
The role involves assisting the management of the day-to-day running of the service, coordinating excellent person centred care for service users and overseeing the development and implementation of care plans designed to provide meaningful choice and increase independence and participation.
Working in partnership with service-users and their families, you will actively participate in the aim of the service, which is to enable service users to live independently in their own home, to engage in meaningfully daily activities, to achieve their desired outcomes and to reduce reliance on 1:1 support. This role will also involve mentoring and providing support and supervision to members of the team.
We are looking for someone committed to delivering high quality services, with excellent communication skills and experience of supporting and motivating people with learning disabilities to achieve their goals. In addition, ideal candidates will have strong administrative and organisational skills and the ability to work independently, using initiative in making decisions. Experience of supporting people with complex needs and additional mental health needs would also be advantageous.
Candidates are strongly encouraged to read the full job description before submitting their applications.
How to apply: Please submit your up to date CV along with a completed application form. We would also appreciate if you could complete a diversity monitoring form.
